Description |
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and performing audit services for clients in the insurance industry
- Preparing engagement letters
- Consolidating subsidiary accounts
- Preparing client representation letters
- Supervising, training and evaluating staff
- Financial risk assessment
- Variation analysis
- Reviewing quarterly financial information
- Reviewing internal controls and making recommendations for improvements
- Preparing and reviewing detailed accounting reports
- Performing accounting research
- Delegating work to staff and providing an environment that fosters a team approach to auditing
- Preparing and/or reviewing tax returns for clients
- Working with the tax department to determine how best to optimize the clients’ tax issues
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

Job Information |
The right candidate should have the following:
- 2-8 years recent audit experience in a CPA firm
- CPA certification is a big plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to train and evaluate staff
- Good “team-player”
