Responsibilities of the position will include:

• Developing audit programs and strategies to more effectively handle client issues
• Planning and reviewing audits for clients in hedge funds, private equity, mutual funds, banks, brokerage or insurance industries
• Supervising, training and evaluating staff
• Delegating work to staff and providing an environment that fosters a team approach to auditing
• Reviewing information systems
• Performing agreed upon procedures
• Reviewing internal controls and making recommendations for improvements
• Financial risk assessment
• Management presentations
• Maintaining a knowledge of business developments and their affect on your client
• Reviewing quarterly financial information
• Developing and maintaining strong client relations

The right candidate will have the following:

• 3-10 years recent experience in a CPA firm
• Experience in hedge funds, broker-dealers, private equity, banks or insurance a must
• Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
• CPA certification a must
• Strong project management skills
