Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Handling day to day accounting functions
• Assisting in month end closing of books
• Preparing monthly account reconciliations necessary for the general ledger closing process
• Supervising bookkeeper
• Preparing budgets, daily cash flow reports and tax filings for commercial rent and sales tax
• Performing financial analysis
• Maintaining the general ledger
• Preparing monthly reports
• Preparing bank reconciliations
• Creating artists statements
• Strong understanding of balance sheet and income statement
• Performing budgeting and forecasting
• Performing intercompany loan reconciliations
• Ad-hoc reporting and reports as required by management

The right candidate should have the following:

• BS or BA in Accounting highly preferred but open to other business related degrees
• 2-5 years accounting experience
• Industry experience in entertainment or agency preferred, but not a must
• Ability to analyze financial information and generate appropriate reports
• Strong computer skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a must
• Comfortable with multiple systems environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
