National CPA firm seeks a Senior Manager/Director for their Valuation Services Division. Position can be headquartered in NJ or NYC

Responsibilities of the positions include, but are not limited to:

• Provide hands on support to staff on engagements in determining the fair value of various financial instruments, including but not limited to Beneficial Conversion Features, Private Company Securities/Equity offerings, ESOP and Purchase Price Allocations
• Provide expertise valuation services for both tangible and intangible assets, including but not limited to real estate, trademarks, lease agreements and customer lists
• Resolve technical issues and analytical issues that arise
• Prepare and/or review financial models, analysis of company, projections and forecasts, due diligence and financial statements
• Prepare and deliver client presentations
• Prepare specialized reports as they relate to the client
• Prepare financial reports and related financial exhibits
• Prepare various valuation models necessary for the engagement

The right candidate will have:

• BS/BA Finance (preferred), Accounting or Economics
• MBA in Finance a Plus
• CPA a plus
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience with a combination of CPA firm and Corporate Finance experience specializing in business valuation
• Practice development skills
• Solid organizational and development skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of financial models including Discounted Cashflow Method, Lattice Model, Black Scholes and Royalty Relief Method
